Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt

The egg hunt has become a popular spring event in the LaFollette Park neighborhood and thanks to the overwhelming response last year, the Friends are pleased to offer the pancake breakfast again. Bring your family for a hearty breakfast and stay for the egg hunt. Lots of great prizes and candy to be had! Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny! Breakfast will be offered in the park pavilion, upper level. Egg hunt will begin around the park pavilion grounds, lower level. Co-sponsored by Walgreens, Half Nuts and HobbyTown USA.

Spring Park Project Day

This is our day to get the park ready for the upcoming summer season. We'll be doing some raking, painting/ repairing structures and cleaning out flower beds to prepare for planting. Scout troops and other volunteer groups are welcome! Meet at the park pavilion, upper level. Rescheduled for Saturday, May 4.

Empty Bowls

4:00-7:00 p.m.

Enjoy soup from West Allis area restaurants and help the Friends group collect funds for area food pantries. Held inside the park pavilion, upper level. West Allis area restaurants providing soups include: Senor Sol, Filippo's, Benno's Chef Paz and State Fair Inn. Music provided by West Allis area students. $5.00 for a soup meal. Ceramic bowls made by West Allis area students available for donation.

Celebrate the end of school and the beginning of summer by taking in an outdoor movie! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a night of summer fun. Food and beverages available for sale. Music in the Park

The Garlic Mustard Pickers will provide a relaxing mix of Celtic and Renaissance style music under the trees of Picnic Site #3. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy early fall at LaFollette Park. Food available for sale.

Fall Park Clean-up Day

We'll prepare the park for winter by picking up garbage, raking leaves and the playground sand and cleaning out flower beds. Scout troops and other volunteer groups are welcome! Meet at the park pavilion, upper level. Rain date: Saturday, November 9.
